A Brief Summary

Welcome! I'm Chef Mark, also known as Markodude. I'm eighteen years of age, and I am, was, the Founder, CEO, Manager, Executive Chef, Financial Advisor, Environmental Safety Manager, Social Media Manager, Dishwasher, Janitor, Operator, Laundry Attendant, Hair Stylist, Manicurist, Chief Agricultural Advisor, and Baker of Markodude's Bakery. Markodude's was a weekly bakery stand carrying hot and fresh baked goods bright and early every Saturday.

A Brief Location

I used to rise both myself and the bread starting 3 a.m. on Saturdays, delivering hot and fresh baked goods starting 9 until I sold out by about 11. I regularly set up my bread stand at the Carmel Junipero statue; intersection of Dolores and Camino del Monte (see left or above for location).

A Brief End

As of the end of the 2024 summer, I have ended my bakery. Due to both a move and a litany of various obstacles and inconvenciences, I am unable to continue baking. You may consider reading the 'History' page for further information. Thank you all so much, indescribably so, for furthering and encouraging me every step of the way. I wouldn't have traded it for the world.

The Food Safety

Operating under a Cottage Food Operation Class A License, Markodude's Bakery met California environmental safety standards for at-home kitchens.

The Carmel Chamber of Commerce

In the summer of 2023, the generous folks at the Carmel Chamber of Commerce invited me and my overgrown bake sale into the Chamber!
